"Free Trade": My Best Friend's Wife

It's hard to laugh at everything in this comedy that willingly rubs the audience the wrong way. Like the drama that leads to a scene of sex games while driving a car. The film is worth more than these excesses, however. Take Carey (Kyle Marvin), previously happily married, to whom his wife Ashley (Adria Arjona) announces that she wants a divorce after cheating on him several times. He runs (in the strict sense, in a comic juxtaposition of shots of a breathless race) to his best friend, Paul (Michael Angelo Covino), who is in perfect love with Julie (Dakota Johnson). To his shock, he discovers that they attribute the success of their relationship to being an open couple. Everyone can have extramarital affairs as they please.
